Things to check before making a reservation

Acceptance of Terms

By using this service, you are deemed to have agreed to the Tree of life membership and online store terms of use. If you are a minor, please use this service only with the consent of your parent or legal guardian.

Article 1 (Definition)

In these Terms and Conditions, the following terms shall have the following meanings:

・"Reservation for visit" refers to a reservation made in advance by a person who wishes to take part in factory tours, workshops, purchase outlet products, or other services provided by our company (hereinafter referred to as "the Services"), in accordance with the method specified by our company.

・"Reservation holder" refers to a person who agrees to these terms and conditions and makes a reservation to visit.

・"Participant" refers to the person who made the reservation or anyone accompanying the person who made the reservation.

Article 2 (Reservations)

Advance reservations are required to participate. Reservations will be made on a first-come, first-served basis, and applications will be closed for any services that reach capacity before the reservation deadline.

1. Reservations for visits shall be made via our website or by a method designated by our company.

2. The person making the reservation must select the desired date and time, number of people, details of use, etc., and enter the necessary information.

3. The person making the reservation must check that there are no errors in the reservation details before finalizing the reservation.

4. Once your reservation is complete, we will send you a reservation confirmation email.

Prices vary depending on the service. Children of elementary school age or younger must be accompanied by a guardian.

Article 3 (Changes and cancellations to reservations)

1. Any changes or cancellations to your reservation must be made via the inquiry form at least 24 hours before the start time of the reservation.

2. As a general rule, cancellations made 24 hours or more after the reservation start time cannot be accepted. In the case of cancellation due to the reservation holder's convenience, no refunds will be given. However, this does not apply in unavoidable cases such as natural disasters or sudden epidemics. In the case of unavoidable circumstances, the reservation holder must promptly contact us via the inquiry form, clearly indicating the reservation holder's name, reservation number, reason for cancellation (specifically), and whether or not they wish for a refund.

3. If you change the details of your reservation, an additional fee may be charged depending on the changes.

Article 4 (Payment)

1. The fee for using the Service shall be paid in accordance with the fee schedule separately determined by the Company and by the method designated by the Company.

2. Payment methods shall be credit card, Paidy, QR code payment, or any other method designated by our company.

3. The price of the products purchased locally shall be paid by cash, a credit card designated by our company, electronic money, or other contactless payment methods available at our company.

Article 5 (Refunds)

If we cancel your reservation due to our mistake or unavoidable circumstances, we will refund the purchase price of the relevant plan.

・Refund method

After confirming the information you provided in the inquiry form, we will contact you via the contact information you provided in your membership registration to confirm the transfer account. We will then refund your money to your designated transfer account.

・Time it takes to get a refund

After confirming the transfer account, we will transfer the money to the specified account within approximately two weeks.

Article 6 (Attendance)

1. If you cannot make it to your reservation time, please contact us in advance.

2. Participants shall comply with these Terms and Conditions and any other rules (notices and instructions) established by our company.

3. If you arrive significantly later than your reserved time, you may not be able to use this service.

4. In the case of an event held at Mizunami Factory, participants must present their reservation confirmation status at the reception desk on the reservation date and time. If participants use their own car, they must park in the parking lot designated by our company.

Article 7 (Prohibited matters)

1. Participants are prohibited from engaging in the following acts within Mizunami Factory.

- Harassment of other participants, employees, or other related parties

・Recording audio, video or photographing content without our permission

・Bringing in dangerous items

- Any other actions that the Company deems inappropriate

2. If a participant violates the preceding paragraph, our company may refuse the participant's use of the service.

Article 8 (Notes)

Participants participate at their own risk. Our company will take necessary measures to ensure the safety of participants, but we will not be held responsible for any injuries, illnesses, accidents, etc. that occur during the course of this service.

・Participants shall exercise the utmost caution when handling tools, chemicals, etc. used in the workshop, and endeavor to prevent accidents, injuries, etc. However, this shall not apply in cases where our company is found to be grossly negligent.

・Participants are responsible for any tasting or food samples, use of any products they make, cosmetics, etc. Participants should take particular care if they have allergies.

・Participants are responsible for managing their own valuables, cash, etc. Our company shall not be held responsible for any accidents, loss, theft, etc. caused by the participant's negligence.

・Please take sufficient care to manage your health while in the factory. We will not be held responsible for any illness or injury that occurs within the facility, unless it is clearly due to our negligence.

・Outlet sales products will not be returned or exchanged unless there is clear negligence on our part. In addition, outlet products must be used for personal use by the customer or their close relatives, and must not be resold or used in any other manner. If a violation is confirmed, future use will be restricted, and in severe cases, legal action will be considered.

Article 9 (Disclaimer)

The Company shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damage suffered by the Customer or damage suffered by other Customers arising from the use of the Service, and shall not be obligated to compensate for such damage.

1. We do not guarantee that the Service will meet the specific objectives of the Customer, that it will have the expected functions, commercial value, accuracy, or usefulness, that the Customer's use of the Service will comply with the laws and regulations or internal rules of industry organizations that are applicable to the Customer, or that there will be no malfunctions.

2. We shall not be liable for any loss of opportunity, interruption of business, or any other damage (including indirect damage and lost profits) incurred by customers or other third parties, even if we have been notified in advance of the possibility of such damage.

3. This does not apply if there is intent or gross negligence on the part of the Company, or if the contract constitutes a consumer under the Consumer Contract Act.

4. Even if the preceding paragraph applies, the Company shall not be liable for any compensation for damage incurred by the Customer as a result of negligence (excluding gross negligence) and which arises from special circumstances.

5. If the Company is liable for damages in relation to the use of the Service, the Company shall be liable for compensation up to the amount of the usage received from the Customer in the month in which the damage occurred.

6. The Company may change or terminate the content of this Service without prior notice.

Article 10 (Interruption of Service)

We may temporarily suspend or stop the operation of the Service or all or part of our website without prior notice to you if any of the following events occur:
If we are unable to provide the service due to circumstances on our side, we will refund the amount paid at the time of booking or offer an alternative date.

- When regular or emergency maintenance, inspection, repair, or changes are performed on the system of this Service.

- When it is difficult to provide the Service due to natural disasters such as earthquakes, fires, power outages, etc.

- If the Service becomes unable to operate due to a system failure, destruction, interference, or network failure.

- Any other case in which the Company determines it is necessary to temporarily suspend or stop the Service.

2. Even if the Service is interrupted, suspended or discontinued based on this Article, the Company shall not be liable for any disadvantage or damage suffered by the Customer or any other third party as a result thereof.

Article 11 (Others)

1. Any matters not stipulated in these Terms and Conditions shall be determined separately by our company.

2. These terms and conditions may be changed without notice. In such cases, the revised terms and conditions will apply to all bookings and participants, and the revised terms and conditions will come into effect from the time they are posted on our website.

Article 12 (Governing Law)

The interpretation and application of these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Japan.

Article 13 (Jurisdictional Court)

Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo Summary Court or the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
