●When using the menstrual cup for the first time after purchase.
●Before use on the first day of your period and after your period ends before storing the menstrual cup.
(There is no need to disinfect with the Moon Clean Cup during menstruation.)
Microwave steam disinfection
1. Unfold the folded Moon Clean Cup into a cup shape.
② Fill the bottle with water up to the second level from the bottom (about 50ml), put the menstrual cup in and close the lid. (It does not need to be completely closed.)
③Put it in the microwave (600W for 5 minutes).
*Be careful not to burn yourself. Allow it to cool for a while before removing it.
4. Make sure the cup has cooled down and remove it from the microwave.
⑤ Remove the menstrual cup and wipe off the hot water with a clean cloth.
When going out
1. Unfold the folded Moon Clean Cup to make it into a cup shape.
② Add water up to the fourth level from the bottom (about 160ml).
Make sure to use drinking water quality water.
3. Remove the menstrual cup and flush the menstrual blood down the toilet, then place it in the Moon Clean Cup and rinse it inside the cup.
It is convenient to use bottled water so that you can change the water several times.
④ After rinsing, the menstrual cup can be used as is.
Don't forget to clean your hands when doing this.
Disinfection tablets (Tree of Life does not sell cleaning tablets.)
1. Unfold the folded Moon Clean Cup into a cup shape.
② Fill the container with water up to the fourth level from the bottom (about 160ml) and then insert the menstrual cup.
③Please insert a disinfectant tablet.
Follow the disinfectant tablet manufacturer's instructions for dosage and time of use.
Do not remove the menstrual cup from the microwave immediately after heating. The cup is very hot, and you may be burned by the hot water and steam inside. Leave the cup in the microwave until it cools down before removing it.
The walls inside the microwave oven may be hot after use. Please be careful not to get burned when putting items in or taking them out.
Caution: Melting and deformation
Do not use the microwave oven when the water level is low or empty, as this may cause deformation of the microwave oven body or damage it.
Do not use the microwave with an obviously excessive amount of water as this may cause the water to overflow and flood the microwave.
Do not heat using oven, toaster, grill, etc. Also, do not use the auto function.
Do not heat for more than 6 minutes, as this may cause deformation of the product or damage to the microwave oven.
Please wash the menstrual cup thoroughly before setting it up. Also, if there is any oil on it, wash it carefully and disinfect it after removing any oil from it. It may melt or become deformed.
Please use within the range of a regular household microwave oven (high frequency output 500W to 700W). Otherwise, it may melt or deform.
Do not overheat. The water in the Moon Clean Cup may suddenly boil and splash (bumping phenomenon), which may cause burns.
Do not use a scrubbing brush or abrasive powder to polish the product as this may cause scratches.
